Join us for Streetdance battles and freestyles and become apart of our thriving and supportive dance community!
Hip Hop at its roots is about “Peace, Love, Unity and Having Fun”. We want to give our dancers more opportunities to come together to dance, perform and be part of the Streetfunk Family. With this in mind, we want to bring back our monthly Dance Jams and make our dancers feel the true essence of Hip Hop.
Our dance jam will take place at the Brighton Youth Centre (in Kemptown), 64 Edward St, Brighton BN2 0JR.
The event will run from 12pm to 3pm and will be MCed and hosted by Yours Truly (JP Omari), with DJ Onassis providing the music for the children to dance to.
We will have a special appearance from my dance partner in crime, Mr Sasha from Funk Format in Portsmouth. Sasha and I have set dance floors “on fire” across the world since 2000! We will have performances, showcases, dance battles and a workshop!
