AMANDA WILSON
DANCE TEACHER
I've been dancing for 20 years, started when I was 6 & I'm trained in a wide range of classical styles as well as all major Street styles. I studied a dance degree at the University of East London. This taught me many things including dance history, dance on screen, managing businesses, how to run events, & had extensive training in StreetDance. I learned from some of the UK's pioneering practitioners & I now work freelance around the UK for various companies such as Pineapple Community, The movement factory, HHI, Marina Studios & now with my new dance family, Streetfunk! One day I hope to start my own company that incorporates the skill sets I gained at Uni while continuing to teach & compete with the SF Family.

NATHAN KOAKAN

Hi! I’m Nathan and I am a teacher for Streetfunk. I started dancing here in April of 2021 with Streetfunk's award winning crew KOD, which has transformed me into a much better all round streetdancer. As well as this, I have gained a large amount of knowledge along the way whilst I have been in the crew. Dance has been my life ever since I first started when I was 3 years old. Throughout my dancing life, I have performed many different styles of dance and have competed in various different competitions including South Coast, UK and even a few world streetdance competitions.
I would love to pass on my experiences and knowledge of this beautiful art to future generations and hopefully pursue a career in dance.

Hi everyone, my name is Monique and I have been a teacher for Streetfunk for 7 years now. I started dancing at the age of 3 doing tap, modern and ballet and continued these styles alongside contemporary throughout school until I found Streetfunk at the age of 13. I instantly fell in love with the different styles and the company itself, and as I got older I knew teaching was what I wanted to do. I absolutely love my job and watching my students progress and grow in confidence is truly rewarding. I also compete internationally with my own crew and have won several titles. I continue to train in a range of dance styles to ensure I am the most well-rounded teacher I can be.
